Washington Cousins
Robin
and Nick were in Seattle May 8, 2001 and had dinner with Robin's distance
cousins. It was great to see them all!

September 2000
This
was taken when we visited Robin's parents in Indiana in the summer of 2000.
Jim's Wedding (July 1998)
After the rehearsal dinner Deb, Ed, Robin and
Nick went to a restaurant to hang out. It was great to spend time catch up
and to get to know Deb's new fiancé, Ed.
Robin's cousin, Jim, was married
in July, 1998, to Krissy. Jim and Krissy met during college where they were
both involved in political events. Jim is currently getting his law degree.
Krissy is working at a bank. They live in Indianapolis.
Dan was one of the ushers. Dan and Jim spent
about 6 hours over Thanksgiving 1999 playing Axis and Allies at Jim's house.
After the ceremony, Dan attempts to look cool
for his wife, Nicole.
Deb and Robin show their true selves.
Jim took a few minutes during the rehearsal to
pose for a picture with us.
Christmas 1997
When we were growing up, our
Aunt Donna used to make the best desserts for Christmas time. Our favorites
were her gingerbread houses, gingerbread men and mice cookies. Her mice
cookies were so fun to eat. For Christmas 1997 she surprised us with a batch
of mice cookies. Like I said, they're a lot of fun to eat.
Christmas
1996
Robin's dad, Hall, still has the suits he
wore to work his first year at Carrier (over 30 years ago). Dan, Deb and
Robin used to go to his closet when it was Nerd Day or Imitate
Your Favorite Teacher at school. We used to dress up as our math
teacher, Mr. Slack. While Deb and Robin were home for Christmas, 1996, they
dove into his closet again for fun.
Over the years, mom's slippers have become a
target of fun, especially to Robin. Her slippers have been hidden, frozen,
and tossed about the house. One year for Christmas, Deb bought a pink pair
to give her. But we decided to have some fun. She gave her only one slipper
and kept the other slipper to herself. The following Christmas she received
the other slipper. But mysteriously the original slipper had disappeared. A
couple of months later, she received it in the mail, in 2 separate boxes. So
much for wearing that pair of slippers.
Dan's Wedding (June 15, 1996)
Dan and Nicole were married on June 15, 1996
in a park outside of Chicago. They met over Christmas 1990 at the
Adventure Unlimited Ranches in Colorado. They got to know each by mail
and phone for the first couple of years and then started dating.

Connie (Alford) Sablan
Robin and Connie knew each other
through college. They shared an apartment for a year during 1996 and
1997. It was a
learning experience. Connie learned to be extra careful to not put the wrong
kind of dish soap in the dishwasher so it doesn't bubble over.
Connie and Nate were married in
September 1996. They threw a surprise wedding. Everyone thought they were
attending their engagement BBQ, but ended up watching a wedding.
Connie and Nate Saban had their first baby on
October 13, 1998. They named her Hannah Kayloni. Isn't she cute?
Long
Lost Relatives
About five years ago, Hall
discovered that we have long lost relatives in Washington. We met them
and have slowly gotten to know them.
This is Lisa and Beth
LaRosa. They both live in
Seattle. Lisa has a son named Tony.
